The other day, I went to a bonsai garden with a friend who is not interested in bonsai at all.
She said she never saw a girls college student living in Tokyo, a bonsai.

It was a bit of time,
I went around the garden and talked with the host owner.

I was worried how I felt honestly, but he was really impressed me actually.
Especially about the feelings and philosophy of craftsmen.

Despite being a single person, it was the moment when my favorite bonsai was recognized.
I sincerely want to continue this work.

I was also happy with the proud face of the owner at that time..
盆栽と関わって、嬉しかったこと。

先日、盆栽に全く興味のない友人と盆栽園に行った。
東京に住む女子大生、盆栽を見たことは一度もないという。

少しの時間だったが、
園を周り、園主さんと一緒に話した。

正直どう感じられるか不安だったが、実際に行きすごく感動してくれていた。
特に職人さんの想いや哲学について。

1人の人ではあるものの、私にとって大好きな盆栽が認められた瞬間だった。
この仕事を続けたいと心から思う。

その時の園主さんの誇らしげな顔も、嬉しかった。
